I just loved making this project. Using large white flower beads glass pearls and swarovski crystals. I used 1.2mm wire to make the base and wrapped .4mm wire around it adding beads to the wire. As I did the the black necklace I made in May I used Tiger tail around the back of the necklace on 2 strands.

Wedding Necklace
I am going to a family wedding next weekend and have an excuse to make myself a necklace. The outfit I am wearing is black and grey but I wanted to put some colour in the piece so I've introduced some pink. For the centre I have used a piece of 1.2mm wire as my base put a loop in each end and bent it into a semi circle shape. Then I've made myself a selection of strands with .4mm wire and 'lucite' flower beads, swarovski crystals and glass pearls. I have then wound them around the base I have then added a couple of strands of tiger tail and threaded a few beads and larger pearls to balance the sides of the necklace with the centre. I have made ear ring s and a 'lucite' flower bracelet in black to match. I love making pieces like, and am available to undertake commissions for pieces like this for weddings or special occasions.

Mixed Lucite transluscent flower bead necklace
With this project I have used 'lucite' flowers and leaves on a faceted bead base. To create the base I have used 6mm facted beads with seed beads in between to create a string, putting the clasp on either end. Then working back along the string. Go though a faceted bead and add 6 seed beads your 'lucite' bead a seed bead and come back down the 'lucite' bead and 6 seed beads, though the next seed in the string and carry on in this manner along the necklace until you've added enough lucite bead groups. You may wish to add more than one group of beads in between each of the facets.

leaf necklace and tiara
Since qualifying as a costume designer I have undertaken several commissions this being the latest for Angela a bride whos' getting married on 14th May 2011. I have made the necklace base with 3 strand of 1.2mm wire shaped around a biscuit tin into a circle. I have then added wire strands, wrapping glass pearls and crystals along. I have made the leaves by placing 18 size 11 beads on a wire bringing it into a circle and and securing by wrapping the 2 lengths of wire around each other and shaping it into a leaf . The colours where chosen as they match the detail and leaves in Angela's dress. I really enjoyed this project even though it took hours to finish. As you can see I made a matching comb for her hair and I also made her matching earrings. For her bridesmaids I made 2 stranded pearl and crystal necklaces on tigertail with earrings to match.

Blue 'lucite' Bracelet
This is a very simple bracelet to make. Start by adding enough size 11 seed beads to fit comfortably around your wrist approx 110 Add your clasp. Now come back through the first 3 seed beads, add 3 seed beads your 'lucite' bead a seed bead. carry on along the bracelet in the same way until you reach the other end then add the other end of your clasp. I varied the size of beads and colour along the length of the bracelet.
flower brooch
I have used a brooch sieve with these beautiful 10mm 'lucite' acrylic beads and added alittle bling with some 3mm swarovski crystals. I started adding beads by coming from the back of the sieve to the front centre hole with the thread and added 3 size 11mm seed beads and then went back through the same hole. Working from the middle hole out. I put extra beads around the edge. Then I added the feature beads the same way by coming up through the a hole adding a feature bead and a crystal and then going back though the feature bead and the sieve.Add tassles at the bottom on the sieve by adding approx 20 seed beads the feature bead etc as before and going back through all the seed beads back through the sieve.
